many music critics pan kennedy because was taught classical, then exapnded his repertoire into rock, jazz, fusion, etc. for me, that's why i love him so much. if you guys like this video, get "the kennedy experience." it's a cd of kennedy and some musicians and they jam on jimi hendrix music. totally awesome!

It is very good and also a different version then what I am used to. The more I listen to it, the more I see what he is doing and understand how he is trying to make it more enjoyable for the crowds. I am just the type of person who likes the origionals, but am open to other interpretations!As for a jazz version, I do not see it. But I can see that he is playing it in a more contemperary modern style then when the piece was written.

Agree with u . But everybody has its diff way of playing.Nigel Kennedy plays as if it was jazz, u noe country side, but maxim plays as if it's classical. |
