hey, since light travels at the...well speed of light, and that picture is 78 billion light years deep...than that picture is looking at 78 billion years ago(?!) but i thought the universe was only like 15 billion years old or something... Im pretty confused can someone please explain this to me?

By the way, I still don't get why so many people keep refusing to accept the idea that there could be some other intelligences in the universe...I mean...their arrigance is just so unbelievably annoying. Who the hell are we to be so sure about it? We know absolutely nothing, and that's what I find really inspiring and somewhat poignant in astronomy. It makes you think that there's something more and that there's still space for immagination and wonder.

Terrifying in a good way...fascinating...and it makes you ponder about a lot of things.
