The fort is something. What threw me back was the sleeping quarters. Those beds looked like there were bodies in them. lol But the fort has been kept in good condition and it was such an experience to tour it. I believe I went to every entertainment venue there was except for the ghost tours. (con't below)

Went to Fountain of Youth, Ripley's, Lightner Museum (I bet I got the name wrong). Didn't tour Flagler college but I will next time. I did go in though. Place is awesome. I'm going back up soon. I love it up there.

well, Castillo De San Marcos settled in 1568 is a remarkable place, I go there often and am reminded of the great history of our country.Thanks delise720.

I dream of Moving to st.aug when i retire.You must be young> I grew up inPanama city and Hated it when i lived their.How wrong I was.I want to teach at flagler{sp} college one day I am a History teacher and would love nothing more than to eat @ oc whites every night and drink ale with the pirates @ the spanish period bar on the main st.

I dont know what month you were there, but I live 2 hrs from St. Augustine. I climbed that lighthouse in September and it had to be 90+ degrees. I thought I was gonna die. LOL Had to stop at every window just to get some air. They say its higher than the Statue of Liberty. I know I wont be climbing it again. I also went back there at 2 a.m. with my daughter and took some night shots. Its really scarey at night.

I'd love toooo but, :( I can't afford it, I'm moving closer to work, to a little town named Starke. Nothing much famous there, except ole sparky!! Not much tourism though...You live in a nice, pretty place. Blessings
